Our team will begin by numbing the tooth being treated and then gently removing any decay. The tooth is then cleaned and the outer surfaces etched. We prepare and place the material in several different layers. We sculpt and mold the tooth under a light, and in the same visit, polish the teeth for a brighter appearance. This provides a lifelike and biocompatible solution for many cosmetic issues.
Cosmetic Contouring
In the same visit, we could also correct common esthetic imperfections in only one visit. With contouring, we don’t add materials to the tooth, and instead gently sand and buff away the outer structure to offer smile improvement. We can use contouring to smooth out pits, grooves, and rough patches in the tooth structure. Our team can also address the appearance of minor chips, and addresses overly large or misshapen teeth.
