Professional Teeth Whitening In-Office
If you need results quickly, such as before a first date, job interviews, or special events like a wedding or a graduation, then we can offer an in-office teeth whitening procedure. The process can whiten your smile in as little as one to two hours. The process is simple. Our team will apply a powerful bleaching gel to the teeth, which coats them and then breaks up stains when exposed to a light. We can then repeat this process as needed. You can leave our office with a noticeable brighter smile!
Removing Stains From Home
If you have more severe teeth stains, then we may recommend our take-home option! You will visit the office just long enough for us to create a custom set of plastic trays, which you then return home with. We also provide a series of plastic syringes containing a powerful bleaching gel. At home, you add the gel to the trays and wear them for a specific amount of time, usually about an hour a day, and repeat at this for a week or two. For some, teeth could be up to eight shades brighter! You can then keep the trays and any remaining gel should need touch-ups in the months to come.
Masking Discoloration
What if we examine your smile and find you have intrinsic teeth stains, also known as permanent discoloration? These are stains that form beneath your enamel instead of on the surfaces of your teeth, and they can be more difficult for teeth whitening to remove. If this is the case, we can still brighten your smile! In one visit, we could coat the surfaces with dental bonding to offer a brighter appearance. We could also attach porcelain veneers to the front of your teeth, which also mask discoloration. These options can address concerns with the shape of the teeth too, some patients could even receive a smile makeover with them.
