We then take impressions and images of the bite, which we use to plan the placement and then create a custom restoration or prosthetic, such as a crown or even a set of new teeth. When you come in for the placement process, we will guide the post or posts into the jaw with digital surgical guides. Once these are in place, we will attach an abutment to them and then secure a crown or a prosthetic. All of this happens in one visit, so you leave with a full smile.
Maintaining Your New Teeth
To help ensure your new teeth last and your smile remains full for decades to come, you need to brush and floss daily, cut back on the sugar in your diet, and avoid tobacco products. This helps prevent and manage issues like gum disease, so you can avoid implant failure or the loss of your remaining natural teeth. We also want to see you for a checkup every six months, so we can monitor your natural teeth and your new ones, offering cleanings and more to help protect your oral health and keep your smile full and beautiful for years to come.
